DÉCEMBRE 2014 Jiko trainings !!

Do you know about jiko ? It’s an interesting idea in order to use less wood for cooking meals. In our “Ormiti” project in Kenya, we have indeed a reaforestation activity, but, what is the point to reaforestate, if the use and the wood collection continue at a torrid pace? A specialist from Kajiado county and a responsible from the Ministry of Agriculture from Loitokitok came to train people in order to develop this technic.

 

A lot of communities’ representatives came to attend the training.
