Suite à la demande des habitants et de l’association béninoise AJEDD, nous avons entrepris la réalisation d’un forage dans la cour de l’école primaire du village de Djégou Nagot.

Une mission exploratoire a été réalisé et une étude de faisabilité technique demandé afin de s’assurer de la présence d’eau sur le terrain.

Le forage effectué par un entreprise béninoise à permis de faire jaillir le précieux liquide début Juillet.

C’est une population rurale d’environ 1500 personnes qui bénéficie d’eau potable à un coût très bas, ceci permettant de faire une réserve financière afin d’assurer la maintenance des installations.

L’école bénéficie gratuitement de l’eau pour les enfants et la préparation des repas.

Un jardin potager pédagogique est prévu dans un second temps.

Following the request of villagers and AJEDD association, we have undertaken a forage’s realization in the Djégou Nagot’s village primary courtyard.

An exploratory mission has been done and a technical feasibility study asked in order to be sure of the water presence in the ground.

The forage has been done by a beninese enterprise and has allowed the precious water to spurt out at the beginning of July.

The population of around 1500 will beneficiate of drinking water at a very low cost, this way will permit to have a money reserve and to insure the maintenance task of the installations.

The school beneficiates the water free of charge for the children and for the food preparation.

A vegetable garden is planed in the second period.
