MAY 2016 The works go on!!!
These days started the first knocks of pickaxe for the building of the Maasai kids’ school at ‘Angata Rangai in Kenya.
At the foot of Mount Kilimandjaro, located next to the border of National Amboseli Park, this community shares its territory with the elephants which get out from the reserve in order to join Tanzania or the Tsavo National Park.
The elephants borrow since thousand of years the same corridors following water points. The populations are also now, step by step, settled around the water holes and clashes are often deadly.
The young children of the 9 villages will be able to have access to education at the baby class. They are today around 80 to wait impatiently their school.
Much remains to be done but the start of school is in January …
